Cake Time

Tyler and I went to Frys to have a cake made. Once we got there this cake was on display and we went no farther. Tyler loved it. Tyler then picked out the #8 and some other candles. Eric lit the candles and once Tyler blew them out, they re-lit themselves..we did not know that we picked out re-lighting candles. Tyler had a great day. It was just a small party with just family.

Tyler was also wanting the Lego Batman game guide and we surprised him with a new Wii game Star Wars Clone Wars Lightsaber Duels so now we can fight each other (its like the street fighter game).

The big present that he really wanted was a basket ball hoop from Grandma and Grandpa. This took Grandpa and Daddy hrs to put it together. Once the weather cools down Tyler will have alot more fun.

Tyler's 8th Birthday

Tyler received from Cookie (Grandma & Grandpa) 2 new legos which were a single drum roller and a farm tractor.

4th of July

The 4th of July we stayed home to do our own fireworks. It was alot of fun. Neighbors all around us were shooting them off which was a better show than what we saw on the 3rd in Rigby. Here are a few cool shots that I was able to capture.

Can we sleep outside?

So Tyler wanted to sleep outside and last year when went to stay with Angie and Clayton, we were able to sleep outside. The weather had been good and they boys were going to sleep outside in the tent.. Tyler asked Uncle Clayton nicely to put the tent up..at this time the weather was hot and some clouds in the sky so it took about hour to put the tent up and everything was set for a nite under the stars. Later on that evening, a storm started to come in and then came the wind. It only took 5 min to take the tent down and that was then end of sleeping outside. Maybe we can try again next year.
